130 projects all around the world, primarily from the world of architecture, have been given the 2016 International Architecture Award. Klybeck Quay is among the small circle of landscape architecture projects among the recipients. The prize has been awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in collaboration with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies since 2004. The president of the Athenaeum, Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, characterizes this year\u2019s winning projects as follows: \u2018The best of today\u2019s architecture demonstrates a new International Style that has little to nothing to do with architectural \u201cstyle\u201d, but more a genuine concern for the society that architecture serves.\u2019 As landscape architects and in particular with regard to the Klybeck Quay project, we fully support that sentiment. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
