Modular Campus

The network of paths connects all buildings and services on the campus, allowing efficient movement from A to B as well as enjoyable strolling, skating or jogging. The forecourts of the buildings are individually adapted to the respective architectural language and building use. Their design varies according to need – from the representative “red carpet” to the informal meeting place. They provide the environment that strengthens each building as a unique address within the whole.

The shortest route between the buildings is provided by the catwalks: wide plaza-like promenades – practical connection, meeting point, space to see and be seen. Sports spots spread across the entire campus expand the existing range of sports on offer. Pavilions stand unexpectedly in the green: high-quality, simply designed, minimally furnished small buildings that can be used as retreats for design meetings, events, exhibitions or other occasions. The quiet zones are not explicitly designed. They result from the basic landscape: sheltered meadows are ideal for yoga, a bench in the shade of a tree for a quiet lunch break, informal paths for a walk.

The extensive, landscaped grounds with their modular elements offer a robust and highly flexible basic structure that can easily accommodate new buildings or uses without losing its strength or identity. Rooted in the corporate philosophy and the surroundings, authentic in its specific identity, sustainable in its flexibility, maintenance and ecology, the park captures the Adidas campus in an agile, mobile and inspiring environment for guests and employees alike.
