The Museum of the 20th Century, Berlin

Along with the architects working at Christ and Gantenbein, Fontana Landschaftsarchitektur was one of 42 teams participating in the competition for the Museum of the 20th Century. The design reached the second round – with a circular building without a back or front, situated in an extensive ‘city grove’: a differentiated area with discreet, clear zoning and changeable pattern generated by the shadows and trunks of the trees.
