We have created a picture-postcard landscape without even knowing it. For years now Fontana Landschaftsarchitektur has overseen the popular Kannenfeld Park in Basel. The goal is always to adapt the historic park, which was created from a former cemetery, to current user needs, while maintaining its historic core and charm. It seems our client, the Stadtgärtnerei Basel (city green spaces department), liked our work: it has chosen pictures of our park design as postcard motifs – which of course pleases us!
