University Centre for Dentistry Basel UZB opened

In 2016, the foundation stone was laid for the University Centre for Dentistry Basel UZB in the Rosental area. On 30.8.2019 the building was inaugurated. The angular ground plan, its scale and the structured façade lend lightness to the mighty new building – the outdoor space design embeds it in its contrasting surroundings between perimeter block development and large industrial buildings: Trees in planted gravel areas screen and shade the new green axis where the outdoor caféteria and the main entrance are located. The two atriums are designed as vertical gardens that bring life, light and privacy into the dense development.
